Happy Mother’s Day
She’s the first love of every child.
The first teacher.
The one who keeps the entire family together, no matter what.
No matter the situation, she always puts her child first—worrying constantly about what’s good, what’s bad, and how to make things better.
When God saw He couldn’t be everywhere, He created Maa.
She is, in every sense, the human form of God.
Why do you think the first word we call out when we’re scared, hurt, or confused is always “Maa”?
She carries us for 9 months—carefully, lovingly, taking every step with caution just to protect us.
And then after all of that… sometimes, we end up throwing our frustration at her.
Why?
Because we know she’ll stay.
She won’t shout back.
She’ll quietly absorb it all—and still return with love.
That’s who she is.
She lives for us.
She wants to see us grow, succeed, and become something in life.
We often complain about the nagging—“padh le,” “timepass mat kar”—but we ignore the intention behind those words.
She’s seen life way before us. She knows the regrets we might face, and she tries her best to shield us from them.
She celebrates with us in our highs and stands like a wall during our lows.
I’ll never forget—my mom literally cried when I scored 96% in my boards.
She supports me even when I feel like I won’t be able to crack JEE.
She never asks for much—just that we stay kind, listen to her, help her a little, and treat her with love.
And yes, as she grows older, she might get a little more stubborn, get irritated easily, and yell over small things—but that’s okay. It’s natural.
Instead of reacting, take a pause and ask yourself, why is she yelling?
There’s always a reason, and most times, it’s just her love coming out the wrong way.
So today, I’m not asking much from you.
Just go to your mom, give her a tight hug, and wish her Happy Mother’s Day.
RAK of the Day: Behaved nicely with my mom—as usual. :)
